Something shifted. I stopped making excuses. I stopped comparing myself to others and started asking myself the tough questions

I’ll never forget the day I walked across that stage. My name was called, and there I stood, wearing the dress I had only dreamed of—a dress that had hung in my closet as a constant reminder of my goal, a goal I once thought was impossible. The cheers of my team surrounded me, the applause echoing the journey I had fought so hard to complete. I held the plaque in my hand, a tangible representation of reaching the top 1% of my network marketing company.

That moment was electric. It was a feeling of sheer victory. I had never experienced that level of victory before, and it felt amazing! But what made it sweeter wasn’t the applause or the spotlight—it was knowing how much I had overcome to get there. The quitter in me had died, and a new version of me had emerged. I didn’t just dream anymore. I did the work, I faced my fears, and I refused to quit.

The Journey to That Moment

Let me tell you, the path wasn’t smooth. For years, I felt stuck. I would start strong, only to hit a wall of frustration, doubt, and fear. I’d quit, telling myself it just wasn’t for me, that maybe success was for other people— special people with the perfect background, the right resources, or a little more luck.

But something shifted. I stopped making excuses. I stopped comparing myself to others and started asking myself the tough questions and gave myself five mindset shifts that rocked my world! Here are a few: I was no different than those who had succeeded before me!  Whatever I needed to succeed, I could learn! It wasn’t a special gift or personality successful people were born with! The journey doesn’t have to be perfect, I could do it scared, confused, and messy because that is how it is done!

My Turning Point

The real breakthrough happened when I stopped waiting for confidence and started taking action. I realized that confidence doesn’t come before action—it’s born from action. (Read that sentence again!) My mindset had to shift from I can’t to I will. And with every small step, I became stronger.

I learned to do the work scared. I learned to lean on God for wisdom when I didn’t understand what was ahead. And I learned to see myself as He sees me—worthy, capable, and called.

That dress I would wear hung in my closet as a reminder to stay focused.  It became more than fabric and stitching. It was a symbol of obedience, of moving forward even when I felt unprepared. God had whispered to my heart to buy it and unveil it at a regional meeting in front of my peers, and though I was terrified, I did it. And in doing so, I kept my eyes fixed on the goal.

Your Moment Is Coming

Sister, I don’t know where you are right now. Maybe you’re frustrated, feeling like you’ll never break through that wall. Maybe you’ve already thought about quitting. But let me tell you this: God hasn’t called you to give up. He has equipped you for more than you can imagine, and your winning moment is waiting for you!

Yes, it will take work. Yes, it will take courage. But here’s the truth: you are no different from those who have succeeded before you. The same God who empowered them is ready to empower you.

A New Season

As we step into this new year, I want you to reflect on your own journey. What’s holding you back? What’s one step you can take today toward the moment God has prepared for you?

Remember, success isn’t just about the goal—it’s about the transformation that happens along the way. Let this be the year you decide that enough is enough. No more holding back. No more excuses.

Your stage is waiting. Your name will be called. The only question is, will you step up? I believe you will, and I can’t wait to see it happen.

Here’s to your winning moment—it’s closer than you think.
